This workshop will focus on the existing evidence that supports this claim, including how pricing policies such as taxation and minimum pricing can be designed to reduce excessive drinking and alcohol consumption among youth and adults and to what extent these policies generate tax revenues. This workshop will also address topics related to the potential economic consequences of pricing policies.
